Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1785.

Tall-case clock. The hood has an ogee molded broken-scroll pediment terminating in carved roundels, a central wooden ball finial on a fluted block plinth and identical finials on block plinths at the four corners, a molded arch above the door, turned colonettes at the four corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove and dentil molding at the top, fluted quarter columns at the front corners, and a case door with carved five-lobed shell top and flower inlay. Base with molding at the top and bottom, fluted quarter colonettes at the front corners, and applied rectangular base panel, supported on ogee bracket feet.
